Arctotis

Want some winter colour in your garden, here is a hardy dry tolerant plant that flowers through the winter. It is a groundcover to about 30cm tall and spreading to about 1m. Its silvery foliage is great for contrasting with other plants. Most commonly available varieties have yellow or orange flowers, which are long lasting, but you can get various shades of pink or white. Can be grown in the ground or a pot, they can look untidy at times, but a bit of a prune can usually fix that. A very hardy plant and one to consider if your looking for a groundcover.
